DJ Java Decompiler 3.1

DJ Java Decompiler is a Graphical tool which can be used for decompiling the java byte codes (.class files) back to source files (.java).

Due to the overwhelming popularity for the java language for application development, it has become a necessity to decompile the files back to source code. As java compiler prepares an architecture independent byte code, which the java virtual machine (Java Runtime Environment) interprets and runs, DJ Java Decompiler could be used to recover the java source code. It is simple and easy to use. Decompiling any java application (whether it be java applet or any other java binary byte code file) is just a click away. Upon installing, it sets itself as the default viewer for the .class files. On selecting the java binary byte code to be decompiled (by double clicking or drag n drop), it does the remaining work, producing the accurate source code for nearly any complex applications. Moreover, it has to be noted that it is a stand alone Windows application, doesn’t require java to be installed. Another important feature to be noted is the Syntax Highlighting which makes reading of the source codes easier. It also allows saving/printing/editing/compiling the decompiled files. It is also capable to be used as a Java Source file editor, and you may use it as a compiler to create applets and jar files if you have the JDK (java Development Kit) installed.
